What is the best color of Red Manic Panic?

So I don't have my hair cutting license or anything like that but I've been cutting half of my towns teen hair for 3ish years now. Everyone who wants a crazy style comes to me cuz I charge little (if any) to do peoples hair. I have just recently cut my friend jeffs hair into a sweet horse mane mohawk, but we are going to be coloring the mohawk part red and fade it into orange. I was thinking of just doing the whole thing in manic panic, because A. It's suuupper easy to touch up and B. I already picked out an orange from manic panic. But I was just wondering what the best color of red is from them that won't turn/ fade pink. I've used manyyy colors of manic panic before but never have I used red, so I'm just worried that it will fade pink DX anyways thanks
